SUNY Orange is developing a program geared towards cultivating the skills and knowledge essential for manufacturing roles within the offshore wind sector. This initiative aims to establish a steel manufacturing hub in Newburgh and New Windsor.

These programs will enhance workforce development efforts, preparing individuals for roles including construction, manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance of offshore wind farms.
